Corporate Intranet redesign 2

A large-scale internet marketing software design company consulted me to redesign a couple of their internal employee admin tools, from both a functional and visual perspective.

The second round of work was a redesigning the Customer Billing Center experience. Their old billing center was lacking a lot of necessary functionality, was disorganized, and required too many clicks to unearth important information.

I presented two directions; the first two screenshots show a more straightforward approach with a modular menu on the left and content in a fixed column on the right.

The second option (third & fourth screenshots) presented was designed to be more responsive and fluid. The menu columns expand in place to show their respective content on click. This layout would have flowed to a vertical stack on mobile.

The client preferred the flexibility and stability of the first option.
